Meet Brent
Outdoor Photographer in Central Oregon
I’m a Bend-based photographer drawn to real moments and natural connection. The best images aren’t forced — they happen when people feel comfortable, present, and fully themselves.
Much of my life has been spent outdoors — in rivers, mountains, rodeos, and wide open spaces — and that connection to nature shapes the way I photograph. I pay attention to light, subtle emotion, and the quiet in-between moments that often matter most.
My approach is simple: create a relaxed environment, guide gently when needed, and let moments unfold naturally. The result isn’t just a photograph — it’s meaningful storytelling designed to live on your walls and remind you what matters most.
When I’m not photographing clients, I’m outside with my wife and our dog — hiking, whitewater kayaking, skiing, or just chasing good light. Photography isn’t something I turn on for work. It’s how I see the world.
Photography became powerful for me because it slows things down. The way light hits fresh snow. The way someone laughs when they forget the camera is there. Those small details most people rush past — those are the moments that matter.
I believe portraits should feel like you — relaxed, grounded, and natural. I don’t over-direct or manufacture moments. My role is to create space where you can be yourself.
The images that come from that space are the ones that hold meaning long after the day is over.
